I came home to what was either a big wood, or wolf, spider last night and was determined to kill it before bedtime. I didn't want one of those things in my bed as I slept. And I don't know what spiders are poisonous or not, or which ones will cause your flesh to rot alive with just one bite. I don't do spiders. It did die, though.
Work was good and easy yesterday. Slow day. Trained Bernard for staff lead. And finished the night with pizza shared with the family...and struggling to download the newest episode of Chosen Season 5. Episode 2. Eventually got there. God let me know He would have preferred I prayed instead.
I must admit, I like having the simplicity of blogger. No fuss. No making it pretty or getting it tagged right etc. :) My internet connection stinks so much I can't even add pictures on here.
Today I'm working with the new guy, Marcus. I expect it to be good, but very busy. Wednesday. Payday for a lot of people and Wednesdays are as busy as weekends. But God makes it work.
I got paid early because of Juneteenth coming up. I got my bills in order and now I get to live on the rest, as it were. Turning my funds to cash and limiting my spending has helped and I already have a little leftover from my last paycheck...which I must use at the laundromat because I need clean work clothes and our washer doesn't work.
Funny how God works. You think getting a bunch of quarters to curb spending urges is 'your' idea, but turns out you're gonna need that to do a lot of laundry. At least it's available.
I'm on a 'little' bit of a crochet break. Still working on my daily temperature blanket.
Oh, and God provided on the flea meds. Mom bought them. Thank you God. I just have to concern myself about Fancy's treatment, so that helps. <3
The day just started. All glory, praise, thanks, and all things be to God on the highest forever and ever. P.S. I love you and Jesus does, too.
10:28 a.m. Your girl is restarting blurb again to back up my old journal entries. Since I went on so many hiatuses in a year it seems like it might not even take that long. But alas, time is short. I got errands to run before I'm due at work at 4 p.m. today.
