When God Pushes You

I'm leaving Wordpress blogging and switching back to the simplicity of blogger. No fuss. I think the Lord prefers that.

There's some gaps between now and the last time I wrote. It's been an eventful time.

Highlights:

  • I gave away Amigurumi to the kids. I'm mostly starting over with making a Disney princess collection of my own pattern. I may want to put that up for free on my pattern sight when I set it up. It's got me thinking of making plushies en masse, especially a 'Groot Army.'
  • I moved my computer to get more desk space and it ruined my very sensitive electricity. It's been a fuss getting that right. Internet speeds are much lower.
  • I'm doing better at money in this particular season. There was an issue getting my check to come vis direct deposit. Walmart ALMOST didn't cash it, but it gave me a boost to getting back on my feet.
  • Drake was scammed out of his birthday money and I crocheted him a Groot to cheer him up. It totally worked. :) He's like 10 years old and all the adults came down on him for getting scammed, but how quickly we forget that many grown people have fallen for them, too. It's often that an adult gets scammed, how much easier for a little child?
  • I finished a Louis Vuitton blanket, padded it and added stuffing. It's since been given to my sister since the flea purge. It was too big to wash.
  • Work and being frustrated at work with the workload and not enough hands on deck, and at first I was placing blame on another individual I was heavily scheduled to work with in particular this week, but I'm trying to move away from that and address the real problems.

After being up for church on time and heading with Brooklyn only, and then going to work until past ten and coming home. Then there were problems.

Not only have sand fleas been an issue, to which I've decided to quarantine Roxy until I can get flea meds and maybe even thereafter, God willing...I had large ants coming in out of nowhere and sniffing about, and then SPIDERS!

Like, I was about to retire to listen to some audio Bible when  kept seeing ants and spiders popping up, on top of my flea problem. Even to the point that a spider was dropping down from the ceiling to land on me in bed.

Nope.

I 'noped' right out of there and went to sleep with Mom in her RV, with her dog, who also had fleas.

By then, it was 1 a.m. Mom had to get up at 4 a.m. and blared NCIS to help her sleep. Then after she left, Bella, her dog, scratched to death while pressing up against me to shake me. I let her out, and then tried to get what sleep I could.

Rough.

The next day was not easy. I was told my house could be sprayed but I need to move everything away from the wall...everything I own is against the wall because I live in a storage container and that's the only way I have room.

From about 11 a.m. to around 5 p.m. was this overhaul of cleaning, washing, drying, and purging.

After, Mom invited me to come out grocery shopping with her and DJ and I went and got the sandwich stuff I need. Praise Jesus. Then I ate dinner.

And later, when I finally sat to rest before 9 p.m. I was invited to the gym...so I went. For an hour and a half.

Then came home around midnight and ate, and played a bit of computer games. Slipped and fell on a slope outside. :/ That can only help my already achy hips. .__.

That was all on the one day off before I work for four days straight this week, today starting day one.

Day at a time.

I've been sleeping in because of achy muscles.

The fleas are almost all purged. Praise Jesus. Roxy has puppy pads but refuses to poo. I haven't seen ants and spiders inside in the last couple days.

I think the whole mess was God's way of pushing me into doing what needed to be done, that I've long snice been putting off.

But for good measure I slept in Mom's RV last night.

It's a new day. All glory, praise, thanks, and all things be to God on the highest forever and ever. P.S. I love you and Jesus does, too. Amen.
