Ugh.

Last night was not easy. I'll back up a bit, though. My boss not only approved my Saturday off, but she switched it to Friday morning (without me having to open the store) and offered me to come in yesterday from 5-9:45 p.m. which I did. I worked with Chris and twas' all good.  Last night I came home and finished up a crocheted doll I was working on. I got bit by a large ant that crept in and went in my pants (I had to get the pants off to find it) and several other ants after that, and a heinous large winged bug thing...whose species I'd never seen before. I recently got a handheld bug zapper and that thing worked like a beauty. I went to bed in Mom's RV around midnight with Bella. I didn't feel like dealing with bugs in my house tonight. My overactive bladder rode me to death, of course. You could sooner throw a parade than have me go one hour without the bathroom. I tried listening to bible movies and 4 a.m. came and I barely slept.  I went home and tried to sle...

Abraham's Geneology

As I was reading through Genesis and learning of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, I was taking down a genealogy, though there's some chance its inaccurate, but I tried. Summary..ish: Abraham died: At 175. Sarah died: At 127. Ishmael died: At 137. Isaac died: At 180. Israel died: At 147. Joseph died: At 110. ------------ Abraham was 86 when Ishmael was born. (Ge 16:16) He was 99 when Ishmael was 13 and he was circumsized. (Ge 17:24-27) Abraham was 100 when Isaac was born. Sarah was 90. (Gen 21:5) This would make Ishmael 14. Isaac's age is unknown or hard to determine at the time of Abraham's great test. (Ge 22: 1-19) The last time his age was calculable was at Isaac's weaning. (Gen 21:8) He was old enough to carry firewood, but not to carry the fire and knife. It's unclear if he agreed to be bounds, in submission (if perhaps Abraham explained God's command to him), or was bound against his will. He was not old enough to show physical resistance or make an argument, in...

The Lord Knows How To Set Things Up

Weeks ago, maybe even more than a month ago, I decided I wanted quarters. A LOT of them. I notice that the more money I bring with me when i go out, the more inclination I have to spend....or even needlessly spend. Lesser denomination...less spending. I'm not taking 20-50 dollars worth of quarters to have a shopping spree with, ya know? So getting there has taken a couple weeks, and has not been easy. Breaking down bills nowadays is hard. I tried doing it at self-checkout to save my embarrassment (making a tiny purchase to break a larger bill) but doing it too much breaks the machine. I kinda fear I might even get fired if I keep doing it at work. In fact, it broke Target's machine down yesterday, and ate my change, and I was mysteriously late for work because it took 8 dollars in change that I waited for them to give me.  And the bank wouldn't do a bill exchange without an account. .__. Laundromat is the biggest helper, when I can get someone to take me. But to come to the...

Steday

I came home to what was either a big wood, or wolf, spider last night and was determined to kill it before bedtime. I didn't want one of those things in my bed as I slept. And I don't know what spiders are poisonous or not, or which ones will cause your flesh to rot alive with just one bite. I don't do spiders. It did die, though. Work was good and easy yesterday. Slow day. Trained Bernard for staff lead. And finished the night with pizza shared with the family...and struggling to download the newest episode of Chosen Season 5. Episode 2. Eventually got there. God let me know He would have preferred I prayed instead. I must admit, I like having the simplicity of blogger. No fuss. No making it pretty or getting it tagged right etc. :) My internet connection stinks so much I can't even add pictures on here. Today I'm working with the new guy, Marcus. I expect it to be good, but very busy. Wednesday. Payday for a lot of people and Wednesdays are as busy as weekends. Bu...

When God Pushes You

I'm leaving Wordpress blogging and switching back to the simplicity of blogger. No fuss. I think the Lord prefers that. There's some gaps between now and the last time I wrote. It's been an eventful time.  Highlights: I gave away Amigurumi to the kids. I'm mostly starting over with making a Disney princess collection of my own pattern. I may want to put that up for free on my pattern sight when I set it up. It's got me thinking of making plushies en masse, especially a 'Groot Army.' I moved my computer to get more desk space and it ruined my very sensitive electricity. It's been a fuss getting that right. Internet speeds are much lower. I'm doing better at money in this particular season. There was an issue getting my check to come vis direct deposit. Walmart ALMOST didn't cash it, but it gave me a boost to getting back on my feet. Drake was scammed out of his birthday money and I crocheted him a Groot to cheer him up. It totally worked. :) He...
